EXHIBITIONS:
• J.A. Comenius cartographer (March 24 - June 26, 2022)
– an exhibition of a unique colletion of Comenius maps of Moravia from the collections of Comenius Museum in Přerov;

Annotation to the exhibition:
In 2022 Comenius Museum will commemorate the 430th birth anniversary of Comenius, and this exhibition is one of its contributions. On display will be a unique collection of maps owned by the museum and presented will be Comenius’ life at the time when he created his map of Moravia. Used will be panels and facsimiles from an exhibition entitled Moravia Newly Drawn, complemented with new findings. Prepared will be various interactive and educational activities.
• The Way of Light Through the Eyes of Children (March 24 – May 29, 2022)
– works by pupils and students of B. Kozánek Basic Art School in Přerov motivated by Comenius work Via lucis (Way of Light)

Annotation to the exhibition:
In 2022 Comenius Museum will commemorate the 430th birth anniversary of Comenius, and this exhibition is one of its contributions. Under the leadership of Mgr. Světlana Lašáková, MgA. Anna Sypěnová and Radovan Pořízka, students from B. Kozánek Basic Art School will create works after the texts from Comenius‘ book Via lucis (Way of Light) about 7 ways of light representing 7 degrees of knowledge and wisdom (1. one’s own experience, 2) speech, 3) assembly, 4) script, 5) book print, 6) sea voyages, 7) general enlightenment. A unique collection of works in which students of the Přerov Basic Art School present their visions of Comenius‘ personality and work.
• New World in Pictures in Přerov / Orbis pictus novus Preroviensis (March 24 - April 22, 2022)
– an exhibition in open space (decorations at bus stops in Přerov) created by pupils and students of Přerov schools, and other artists
Annotation to the exhibition:
– The project Comenius in Přerov Again has a goal to engage the general public in celebrations of Comenius birth anniversary. The exhibition New World in Pictures will be installed at bus stops by students of Přerov primary and secondary schools, but also by artists from some municipal institutions and other talented people.
ACTIONS FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC:
• We create in the museum: New world in pictures in Přerov (March 16-18, 2022)
– creative workshops for general public in the spaces of Přerov chateau, always at 10-12 am and 3-5 pm, admission free
– during spring holidays in Přerov materials for decorating the „museum“ bus stops will be gathered , their public presentation will start on March 24, 2022
• Joint opening ceremony of the exhibitions (March 24, 2022)
– Festive Hall of the town of Přerov, 5 pm, admission FREE
• Day of the Teacher of nations (March 28, 2022)*
– guided sight-seeing walk of Přerov, following the traces of Comenius
• Sight-seeing walk of the town of Přerov following the traces of Comenius*
– lectured programme in selected terms
– self-serviced variant of an educative path with a printed guide (number of copies 1000 pcs, available for schools for the instruction in the region’s history) and work sheets
• Guided tours of exhibitions The way of light through the eyes of children and Comenius cartographer *
– guided tours for general public (at the turn of April and May)
• Museum Night (May 27, 2022)
– night guided tours of Comenius Museum in Přerov with rich accompanying programme
– creative workshop, educative quiz, performance presented by students of B. Kozánek Basic Art School
• Theatre performance the Labyrinth of the World (May 27, 2022)
– Stage performance by Víťa Marčík Theatre inspired by the Comenius work
• Educative programmes for schools and other groups
– During the time of the exhibition a lectured educative programme will be available for schools
